Cold Brew Picks

Time. Temperature. Turbulence. These are three critical elements of brewing coffee and they are three elements that cold brewing turns upside down. Whereas hot coffee is brewed in around 5 minutes (or in just seconds for espresso), cold brewing takes at least 12 hours. Hot coffee is brewed with water in the neighborhood of 200 degrees, cold brewing happens at room temperature. And cold brewing doesn’t come with spray heads carefully engineered to agitate the coffee grounds during the entire brew time, making cold brewing calm brewing … even if it is upside down.
